Part of our soil maintenance programme this year was to plant a Mustard crop.
The Ag team are underway with mulching the mustard crop before turning it into the ground. Planting a mustard crop is a great bio-fumigant and organic matter enhancer.
Bio-fumigation is simply the suppression of various soil-borne pests and diseases through naturally occurring compounds.
