Apatu Farms is a leading, family-owned, Hawkes Bay agribusiness focused on growing quality produce for local and global customers. Our operations here in the Bay are very diverse, growing, transporting and exporting a variety of fruit and vegetables.
We are looking for experienced orchardists who enjoy working with top of the line orchard machinery to join our Pipfruit Division growing premium apple varieties (including RockitTM and ENVYTM).
About the role:
You will be a part of a team of great people who are passionate about growing first-class produce. With access to top-of-the-line equipment, you’ll be involved with innovative growing systems and future-thinking orchardists who are always keen to share their knowledge, experience and some laughs.

About you:
- At least 2 years’ experience in year-round apple orchard operations including machinery operation.
- Current Growsafe Certification.
- Willingness to get stuck in and work with a team to achieve high-quality results.
- Currently eligible to work in New Zealand and have your own reliable transport.
