Apatu Farms is a leading Hawke’s Bay family-owned Agribusiness focused on growing quality produce for prominent local and global customers. Operations span across Vegetable, Pipfruit, Viticulture, Dairy, Export and Transport activities.
Our Pipfruit team manage orchard blocks across the Hawkes Bay region, growing premium apple varieties (including RockitTM and ENVYTM).
About the role:
This is a newly created Orchard Foreman position in our Pipfruit division. This role will oversee and be involved in the day-to-day management of a designated orchard block on Ngatarawa Road. You will receive support and guidance from the Pipfruit Division Manager and have the best of both worlds with a mix of operational on the tools work as well as block management.

About you:
- You may be an experienced Foreman or Assistant Manager looking to take ownership of a designated area or you may be an experienced Senior Leading Hand/Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career.
- Experience in year-round apple orchard operations including people leadership and supervision.
- Current Growsafe Certification.
- Willingness to get stuck in, lead and work with a team to achieve high-quality results.
- Commitment to a safe and healthy workplace.
