Crop Irrigation Support 2026/2027

As we head into another busy growing season, we’re building our Irrigation team and have opportunities available both now and throughout the summer months.

These roles are perfect for students on summer break, those returning home to Hawke’s Bay, or anyone looking to gain hands-on agricultural experience while earning over the warmer months.

From operating tractors and irrigation equipment to helping us grow quality produce, you’ll be part of a team that plays an important role in keeping our crops thriving.

Some positions are available immediately, with additional roles starting throughout the season.

About the Role

Our Irrigation team plays an important part in helping us grow high-quality crops across our farming operation.

In this role you’ll:

  • Operate tractors and irrigation equipment
  • Lay and manage irrigation pipe systems
  • Monitor linear and pivot irrigation systems
  • Ensure crops receive the water they need to thrive
  • Work alongside a supportive and experienced Ag team

Rostered shifts apply and are on a fixed-term or casual basis through to February 2027.

About You

We’re looking for people who:

  • Hold a Full Class 1 Driver Licence (or overseas equivalent)
  • Have tractor operating experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team
  • Take pride in delivering high-quality work
  • Are committed to workplace health and safety
  • Can pass pre-employment and random drug testing

Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
