2024 Winter Orchard Hands
We are seasonal orchard hands for the 2024 Winter apple season!
Apatu Farms is a leading, family-owned, Hawkes Bay agribusiness focused on growing quality produce for local and global customers. Our operations here in the Bay are very diverse, growing, transporting and exporting a variety of fruit and vegetables.
We currently looking for seasonal orchard hands to support our pipfruit division for the 2024 Winter Pruning and Canopy Maintenance season. While experience is preferred, training is provided so if you have your own transport and are looking for some winter orchard work (there is the possibility of on-going work for the right candidate) apply today!
About the role:
You will be a part of a team of great people who are passionate about growing first-class produce. With access to top-of-the-line equipment, you’ll support our pipfruit division by ensuring our trees are in tip-top shape. You’ll be around a team of future-thinking orchardists who are always keen to share their knowledge, experience and some laughs.

About you:
- A willingness to get stuck in and work with a team to achieve high-quality results.
- Currently eligible to work in New Zealand and have your own reliable transport.
- Ability to work for the full season (through till approx. end of September )
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
